Ok. At this point it is impossible for me to know. I need to know what the exact errors are? What is the link to your site.

The Connections plugin is really out of date. I do not know why WordPress is not telling you but there has been many updates since the 8.2.3 version you have installed. The current version is 8.5.27. Are you perhaps blocking updates to Connections for some reason?
Also, those PHP notices are because PHP notices have been turned on for your site. It is highly recommended that you have these notices turned of on production/live sites as the notices in come case can reveal sensitive info about your web server. See this blog post which offers advice on how to disable these notices.

Hope that helps, let me know.

ParticipantHi!
Thanks for your answer. The problem isn´t the PHP notices have been turn on, the problem is that if I install the template, the site will lost your correct look and fell. If I turn off the PHP notices, It will fix the bug, or I’ll just hide?
How can I update the plugin without losing information?
Thanks!10/10/2016 at 4:20 pm #394952Steven Zahm

re: How can I update the plugin without losing information?
Normally you would just click the “update now” link that WordPress creates. You should be able to safely deactivate and delete Connections and then reinstalled from the Add New plugins WordPress admin page. I say should because I wonder if the files were modified and that is why you are not seeing the WordPress update notification.
I suggest making sure you backup before updating to ensure you can undo the update incase the version you have installed was modified and no longer compatible.

ParticipantYes, normally update all plugin with the WordPress Panel.
The problem is that I have 625 element in your plugin…I´m thinking in install the last version like a new plugin, without eliminated active version, how do you think about this option?
What is your feedback about first point: PHP notice?
Thanks!10/10/2016 at 4:54 pm #394955Steven Zahm

If you have not altered the Connections plugin in any way, then you can safely deactivate and delete the current installed version and the reinstall from the Add Plugins admin page just like you did originally. The entries in the directory you have entered are safe and will not be deleted.
We’ll worry about the PHP notices only if they show after you update to a current version. However, per my previous advice you should disable the PHP notices if this is a live production site be cause it can be a security risk.

I recommend the cMap template as it has over a hundred point and click options which include the ability to disabled the search and set the images to none. You can find these options by clicking the Customize button under the cMap template on the Connections : Templates admin page.
Hope that helps!
