ParticipantI purchased these products for our web developer who after a few weeks of trying – was unable to get them to work. He said that he is no longer able to work on our site as he can’t get help for these plug ins. I have a feeling the plugins are fine, just over his head.
Where would you recommend I find a designer that knows how to install your products?
Thank you so much for your help!

KeymasterHow odd, I do reply to every support request. Do you have a name or email I can cross reference to make sure I responded appropriately?
I recall you were working on altering cMap, is this related?
If you want, I can do the install, it only take a minute [no customization] … but I do not actually know anyone who does dev work at all so I really don’t have anyone I can recommend, sorry!

ParticipantHi Steve,
We were working with Brand Graphics. Tim Brand is the owner and designer.
I do not believe it was a matter of you not responding to his questions – more a matter of him not understanding what to do with the plugins. I believe the product has been installed already – Tim just wasn’t able to upload our database.
Maybe this is the wrong product entirely – we are trying to build a database that our users can filter thru and save applicable data to their profile.
We purchased (by our designers request) the cMap and CSV import plugins…
Thanks for any help you can provide!

KeymasterOk, I think I am somewhat certain no questions were asked of me from him. At any rate…
It is a little difficult to know if these solutions will meet your needs. From a high level, yes, Connections with cMap and Link does allow a user to filter thru, save and update. But, really, the details that will define if Connections is a fit or not. If you can let me know more specific questions, I will of course, do my best to answer them.

ParticipantI really appreciate your help with this.
We have a college database that has info like region, sports, division, state, city, etc…that is in an excel spreadsheet…
We have users that will then go thru the database and select schools that fit their criteria. Those selections then populate another sheet in their profile.
That way – they can put together a list of schools that they are interested in. (We help students get to college via athletic/academic scholarships…)
Do you think your product can do that?
Thanks again.

KeymasterWell, it can, but there is nothing “out of box” that will do this for you, sorry.
