re: In the module settings (general tab), if I check the option “session user have to be opened to see the page” nothing happens in the frontend. Any visitor can access to the page where I pasted the short code.

Looking at the page, I see the login form. Twice in fact. Make sure to have the [connections_login] shortcode only once.

This has to do with your permalink structure. To fix, navigate to the WordPress Permalinks settings admin page and remove index.php from your permalink structure. This will fix Connections and make your site have more SEO friendly URLs.

You going to need the Link extension and, optionally, the Form extension.

Perhaps you are using some sort of page caching, either with a WordPress plugin or on the server? If you, after changes to WordPress you should flush the cache.

re: the choice in admin panel is limited. I can remove index.php only in the “personnal structure” but if I do that all the links are broken

Navigate to the Connections : Tools admin page and click the System Info tab. Scroll to the bottom and generate a Remote Viewing link and share that with me please.

Sorry, no, you can not create custom fields using the Form extension. Custom fields have to be coded.

Hmmm, the web server info seems to be “obscured”, for the lack of a better term. Can you ask you web host what web server they have installed on your account. It does not seem to be Apache or nginx.

What will need to be done is the web server will need to be configured with an htaccess rule (equivalent) so the index.php can be removed so the links will resolve correctly with it removed. This is pretty standard WP stuff, so they should be able to do it without any troubles. Generally this just works on.
