ParticipantHi Steven,
I’m posting this as a reminder that we still need notifications when a user updates their listing. I know it’s not high on your list, but it’s been a year. Really! Time does fly:)

What version of Form do you have installed? There have been many updates since I’ve last posted. One update in 2/2015 was a rewrite of the email notification code which should have fixed the bug.

GuestFurther clarification: It DOES post a list of recent updates to the Connections Dashboard, but does not send an email for updates to Admin

My first suggestion is to update Form, the current version is 2.3.

re: How do we get the update for Form?
You can download an update to Form from your Purchase History page.
Deactivate and Delete the current version and then install the new.
re: Do we need to pay for upgrades?
The support and free is for 1 year from the date of purchase. There was an error with you account and when correcting it, the support/expiration reset to 01/18/2017. I’ll honor this so you will have access to support/updates until then, at which point you can renew for another year if you choose.
re: I am trying to find the account name/user name
You can reset your password here:
http://connections-pro.com/wp-login.php?action=lostpassword
The email address to use is the same as the one you are using to make these posts.
Hope that helps, please let me know.
ps. If you add support license key to the Connections : Settings page under the Licenses tab, you will receive inadmin notices of updates and will be able to update with a single click like the free plugins from wp.org.

ParticipantThank you so much. I was able to access the account and download the upgraded version of Form.
I also posted separately that I am trying to change the template to remove the “Category: xxxxx” from the display and some other cosmetic changes using CSS, but I cannot find the class and the CSS file or callout to update. I created the folder, per your post, to include custom CSS, but I am unable to hide the display. Can you point me in the right direction?
And one last question: With “Excerpt” we were able to limit how many listings showed on the page, but with the default template we have to load the entire directory, all 450 members. Is there a way to limit the number of listings on the default template?
Thanks for the reminder about adding the license keys to the Settings page so that we get updates.
That’s it!

Hmmm. I don’t see you other post… any way…
I’m guessing you are using the Default Entry Card template, yes? If so, go to the Connections : Templates admin page and click the Customize button for that template. The page will reload with a preview on the right and the Customizer on the left. The initial panel loaded is the Display panel in the Customizer. On this panel there is an option to disable the display of the categories, uncheck it. Now, since the card view and the profile view are configured separately, click the name of the first entry in the preview. The preview will reload the template in the profile view. Disable the categories again and click the Save and Publish button.
Take a moment to look at all the display options in the Customizer. Tip, there is a back arrow at the top of the Customizer, clicking will reveal more panels of options to configure the template which includes some styling options.

Sorry, but there is no way to limit the list with pagination using the default template. If you like the default template, then may I suggest the cMap template. It has a very similar layout and using the Customizer it is possible to remove the grey background and drop shadow.
Hope that helps!

ParticipantHi Steven,
Sorry for the delay on this. I deleted the old version of Form and uploaded the new version. This has pretty much made admin unable to update any pages on WordPress and stops other plugins (redirect plugin for example) from working at all. Deactivating the Form plugin fixes all the problems. Except that our members can’t update their profiles any more. SO, do you have a copy of the old version of Form that I can upload so we can go back to what was working, even though we don’t get Admin notification when a member makes an update?
We are running membership software that interacts with WordPress through each member’s user profile and this may be causing the problem. Hopefully we can go back to the older version of Form for a quick solution.
Thank you,
Christine -
