ParticipantI originally posted this in pro pack but realized it is probably a bug so am posting here. The new widget plugin doesn’t display the title even though you put the title in. So no one knows, for example, that you are listing todays birthdays or upcoming birthdays.

Participantafter more testing did discover if you check display even if no anniversaries then it shows the title and follows the css. but i don’t want it to display if no birthdays today. same on upcoming and todays birthdays.

Ugh! I have replicated the bug and it exists in all today’s/upcoming anniversaries/birthdays widgets.

This was a little tricky to figure out a fix… it presented somewhat of a chicken and egg problem. Any way I have one of the widgets fixed with the solution that I came up with. Now all I have to do is make the same changes to the remaining widgets.

If you entered your support license key on the Connections : Settings admin page under the License tab, you’ll be notified in the admin of the update and will be able to update in the admin by clicking the update link. If you did not, then you will have download it from your purchase history.
As for the update, I plan on releasing it today as it should not take too long to migrate the fix to the three remaining widgets that require it.

ParticipantI’ve currently updated to Connections Widgets 2.2 and I still don’t see a date with the names on the birthday widget. Attached is a screenshot of my widget settings.

You have me slightly confused because this doesn’t seem to be related unless I am misunderstanding the issue. Any way, to show the date, change the Show Image option from Note to Date and save. The date date will now be shown.
Hope that helps!

ParticipantActually, I was slightly confused. That’s exactly what I was looking for, I just didn’t realize what that was. I assumed that “show image” was for their profile pic. Thanks!!
