ParticipantDear Sir,
I have bought the cmap template for connections directory but having some issues to upload images/logos. I have already checked thepermission for connections_images and it is well set on 755. It’s just stucked whatever I clicked ‘add entry’ or ‘update’ but without images or logos there’s no problem…
I have also some issue to show the map.
Please check ‘Business Directory’ menu on http://www.it-see.com
Thanks
Best regards,

KeymasterOn the images folder, try 767.
The maps issue … The scripts for the maps are not being loaded for some reason. Can you try activating any random template and re-active the cMap template. Also, Can you make sure the theme has the wp_footer() template tag in the footer.php file?

KeymasterFirst back to the map issue … On the Connections : Settings admin page under the Advanced tab, please make sure the Google Maps API is checked and the JavaScript option is not checked.
Looking at your screen capture, you say you only get this error when you try to upload an image, correct? I’m thinking that is a sever config issue. You might have to contact your host. The only thing I can think of is that the tmp folder on the server is not writable to the webserver user group.

Separate issue. Not have a link to look at, my best guess is that Google can not properly geocode the address and is sending back its best guess. What you’ll have to do is edit the entries in question. Under the address section on the edit screen, hit the geocode button, you can then drop and drag the pin to the location you need it to be at.

Guesthi steven thanks for the reply I have tried moving the pin but still have the same result the website is http://bridlington.ws/guest-houses/ all of the maps appear slightly different …. so that the target is centralised in the map but not marked its strange

Ok, sorry, but had to ask … I’ve run in to that before.
One thing I just noticed, the Google Maps API is being loaded twice. That can definitely cause problems. So another plugin or theme must be loading it too. I’ve taken this into account … on the Connections : Settings admin page under the Advanced tab, uncheck the Google Maps API option and save. If the version of the API being loaded by the other plugin or theme is compatible, hopefully that’ll clear things up.
