GuestI updated the connections plugin today as well as wordpress to the latest version 4.4.2 Clifford.
And while the directory works fine on the front-end of the site, without missing entries, when I try to access Connections in the CMS (as an Admin) I’m prompted with the following message:
Connections : Upgrade
Upgrade Required!Your database tables are out of date and must be upgraded before you can continue.
If you would like to downgrade later, please first make a complete backup of your database tables.
[START UPGRADE]
However, when I click the Start Upgrade button, I see that it attempts to access this URL: http://pmkbnc.info/wp-admin/admin.php?page=connections_dashboard&upgrade-db=do but it instead just refreshes the page, and I still can’t access any of the Connections CMS settings.
Again the directory is visible on the front-end of the site, but I can’t upgrade Connections in the CMS, while it continually prompts me to do so whenever I try to access any of it’s settings.
Any help would be greatly appreciated, as I would hate to have to uninstall the plugin and re-enter our entire staff directory (which is very large).
Thanks so much!
Sam

GuestI also am having the same issue for my school’s career site:
http://rivertoncte.org/wp-admin/admin.php?page=connections_dashboard&upgrade-db=do
I am on a school internet when I try this and am going to try it on a non-filtered internet connection but I fear that it’s just gonna do the same thing.

GuestI am having the same problem. When I click Start Upgrade it looks like it is trying to but then the screen just refreshes and I am in a loop. I upgraded WordPress in case that was an issue. I deactivated and reactivate the plugin and still just a refreshing loop.
Any help greatly appreciated!!

Thanks for the login. I was able to locate and fix the bug that prevented the db upgrade routine from running. I have applied this fix to your site and was successfully able to run the db update. You now have access to the Connections admin pages.

Keymaster@ Sarah and @ Jeromy
I am preparing a bug fix release which may or may not be completed today. If this issue needs resolved immediately, please provide a temp admin login posted here as a private reply and I’ll apply a hotfix so you do not need to wait for the bugfix release.
