@ Rebecca
Yes, the CSV Import is, import only, not for maintenance/updating because of the reasons I’ve outlined in this response. As mentioned, I do have a version that can update, with a caveat. The address, phone, email, dates, link, social networks and IM data types would actually be wiped, not updated, while leaving the images/logos unaffected. This version has not gone thru any extensive testing, but your more than welcome to give it a try if you wish, just let me know. The only requirement is that the CSV file must contain an Entry ID
column and this entry ID must be the ID of the entry within Connections, this is how the import knows it is updating an entry and not adding a new one.
I would totally be into trying that option out. Entering and ID column into that CSV file doesn’t seem like it would be a problem at all.
Thanks,

@ Rebecca
I just emailed it. Let me know if you do not receive it.
If I import a cvs and then later import a second cvs with no duplication of the entries, will the data previously imported be effected?
@ Danny
No, the new CSV will import all as new entries in Connections it will not affect previously imported entries.
Hope that helps.
