ParticipantSteve,
I must have unintentionally uninstalled the plugin Custom Category Order. I downloaded and reinstalled it. As a side note, when I go to Purchase History I can get to and download the CCO file but I do not find any license key for the plugin.
Thanks,
George

ParticipantSteve,
Here is the current structure for the categories that I want to use for this. I will be adding to this.
The are listed in the order in which I would like them to appear. Where the “Order” is “0”, that means that an alphabetical listing is fine.
The “—”s indicate level. They are followed by Name | Slug | ID | Order.
— Apersee Provider | apersee-provider | 35 | 1 — — By Offering Type | by-offering-type | 45 | 1 — — — Offering: Services | services | 39 | 1 — — — Offering: Software | software | 40 | 2 — — By Organization Type | by-organization-type | 59 | 2 — — — Org Type: Corporation | corporation-by-organization-type | 62 | 0 — — — Org Type: Government | government-by-organization-type | 63 | 0 — — — Org Type: Law Firm | law-firm-by-organization-type | 61 | 0 — — — Org Type: Provider | provider-by-organization-type | 60 | 0 — — By EDRM Stage | by-edrm-stage | 36 | 3 — — — EDRM Stage: Information Governance | information-governance | 37 | 1 — — — EDRM Stage: Identification | identification | 38 | 2 — — — EDRM Stage: Preservation | preservation | 47 | 3 — — — EDRM Stage: Collection | collection | 46 | 4 — — — EDRM Stage: Processing | processing | 48 | 5 — — — EDRM Stage: Review | review | 49 | 6 — — — EDRM Stage: Analysis | analysis | 50 | 7 — — — EDRM Stage: Production | production | 51 | 8 — — — EDRM Stage: Presentation | presentation | 52 | 9 — — By Subject Matter Area | by-subject-matter-area | 41 | 4 — — — Subject Matter: eDiscovery | ediscovery | 42 | 1 — — — Subject Matter: Information Governance | information-governance-by-subject-matter-area | 43 | 2 — — — Subject Matter: Cyber Security | cyber-security | 44 | 3 — — — Subject Matter: Archiving | archiving | 56 | 0 — — — Subject Matter: Forensics | forensics | 58 | 0 — — — Subject Matter: Jury Research | jury-research | 55 | 0 — — — Subject Matter: Legal Hold | legal-hold | 57 | 0 — — — Subject Matter: Staffing | staffing | 64 | 0Thanks,

ParticipantSteve,
I thought it was just me, but this has happened twice now.
I log it to the Connections website, go to My Account > Purchase History and download the Custom Category Order plugin, version 1.0.1.
I install the plugin and then activate it.
The category order capability appears.
After a while, on the Plugins page of my dashboard, I see that a newer version of the plugin is available.
I install the newer version, version 1.4.
The category order capability disappears.
I deactivate the CCO plugin and it disappears entirely from the Plugins page of my dashboard.
I got back to the downloaded file, install it again, activate it again, and the category order capability reappears.
For now it seems I should stick with the older version.
Any idea what is happening?
Thanks,
George

I corrected your licenses to include CCO.
re: Here is the current structure for the categories that I want to use for this.
Can you do me a favor? Can you Export your categories on the Connections : Tools admin page under the Export tab? After you export the categories the filename will have a
.csv, change this to.txtthat way you will be able to add it as an attachment. Also, I need to know the desired order. Use this entry as an example.

Very, very, very odd. there are only two extensions for Connections at version 1.4, they are Contact and SiteShot. I wonder if the licensing is somehow being confused or maybe something from wp.org is being confused… When you see this popup as an update again, I’ll need a temp admin account so I can take a look to see what update is being reported as an update. I did check and I can not replicate this on my test site.

ParticipantStep 3: Desired order, using the suggested entry as an example:
Offering: Services Offering: Software Org Type: Provider EDRM Stage: Identification EDRM Stage: Preservation EDRM Stage: Collection EDRM Stage: Processing EDRM Stage: Review EDRM Stage: Analysis EDRM Stage: Production Subject Matter: eDiscovery Subject Matter: Forensics Subject Matter: StaffingThis order matches the structure in reply #360375.

ParticipantStep 4: When – if – I see something saying that a new version of CCO is available, I will send a screen shot and see up a temp admin account for you.
Thanks.

ParticipantRe Step 2: I get the same result, “undefined”, with “Export Addresses”, “Export Phone Numbers”, Export Email Addresses”, “Export Dates” and “Export All”.

I’ll need a temp admin to see what the error is behind that undefined message.
