GuestWith Connections Pro and the additional Extensions, is it possible
- To have an admin for each category where they can only manage users in that category.
- To make it so that when a member logs in they see only members in there category and cannot see or search any other category members?
- Just to make sure that link will allow any member to edit only their entry.
Thank you in advance and sorry for the list but I need to make sure it will do what I need to.

re: To have an admin for each category where they can only manage users in that category.
Sorry, no. All admins that have permissions to edit the directory entries will be able to edit entries in all categories.
re: To make it so that when a member logs in they see only members in there category and cannot see or search any other category members?
Sorry, no. There is no way to prevent what a user permission to view based on category.
re: Just to make sure that link will allow any member to edit only their entry.
Yes. When a user is linked to an entry by Link, they will only be able to edit their entry.
I hope this answers your questions clearly and thoroughly.

GuestJust to double check before we make a purchase of CMAP. Can you easily ( without programming) add a new field. Or do you have to add it with programming like the free version? Thank you.

No, cMap does not add the ability to add custom fields… it has to be done with programming. Hope that answers your question.

GuestIs there a way to change the heading “Custom Fields” or better yet to hide the heading but still show the fields below it?

Keymaster@ Thomas
Yes, the “Custom Fields” header can be changed, see this QuickTip. To remove it completely is a matter of use some CSS to hide it:
.cn-entry-content-block-meta h3 { display: none; }
Hope that helps!

GuestHi Steven,
I am just before purchasing the Pro Pack but need to get something resolved before I dive in.
For some reason the connection user role is not working for me. I’ve tried everything after adding two separate emails with two different roles however, the dashboard will not show up when logged in even though it is checked off in roles.
I also have the paid membership pro plugin but that should not affect your plugin should it?
Please shed some light here…I am ready to move forward.
Thanks so much.
