    If I have an existing entry, how do I link it to a wordpress account?

    @ Travis

    Install and activate the Link extension. When the user logs in with an email that matches an entry in Connections, Link will link the two.

    Is there any way for me to manually link them on the backend?

    Sorry, no, not presently because Link is designed to work transparently in the background.
