Hi again, Steven. I checked all but can’t find errors. I don’t have knoweledges of programming, php, … but also I can’t understand that yesterday it was all ok and this morning crashes without do anything. If a solution is your beta connections, and it works ok with cmap, … ok. If you want ftp access, ok too. Thanks09/09/2014 at 7:59 am #303169
None of the previous solution in this thread apply to the new 8.1 version of Connections. The image processing code was rewritten from the ground up for several reasons. The benefits are all processing now uses core WordPress functions rather than third party scripts, responsive image and HiDPI (Retina) image support.
I am preparing a bugfix release which addresses several different issues a few users are having with images. If you can grant me FTP and admin access, I’ll install this bugfix release to make sure that it also addresses the issue with images on your site.
You can post access details here as a private reply. Please follow-up with a non-private reply because the forum plugin does not notify me of private replies so I will not know you posted login details until the follow-up nono-private reply.09/09/2014 at 8:52 am #303172
I tried all the things, and finally I found a htaccess file unkonwn until now in “uploads” folder ¿¿?? with a strange redirection. I have downloaded and deleted both files (.htaccess and -htcaccess). Connections files works again. I don’t understand nothing, but all is ok now. If this explanation solves anyone problems, … Regards.
I still waiting for the new and better connections plugin. Regards09/09/2014 at 9:14 am #303176This reply has been marked as private.09/09/2014 at 9:15 am #303177
Steven, I send you a private message. Thanks.09/09/2014 at 9:20 am #303178
Good to hear you solved the issue … not sure how an .htaccess file would have ended up there. Another plugin must have added it.09/09/2014 at 9:28 am #303179
I did try to login, after I did, all I get is the server response error code 403 … perhaps my IP address is being blocked. Do you have any security related plugin installed? If you do, you’re going to have to whitelist my IP address.09/09/2014 at 10:54 am #303193
Sorry Steven. Try it again, please.09/09/2014 at 11:14 am #303194
Now I am receiving an invalid user name error message when I try to login.09/09/2014 at 11:20 am #303195This reply has been marked as private.
