GuestIs there an extension or plugin to buy which would allow user contributed submissions? This looks perfect for my project but I need to allow guest posting.
Thank you

User submissions to the directory and not blog posts, correct? If yes, then you need at least the Form extension. Now, if you want to the allow users to maintain their own entries, then you will also need the Link extension. If you wish to do the later, you need to setup a workflow process to have the user register before submitting their entry (Ideally). You can use the builtin WordPress registration process or a third party plugin to process and manage user registration.
So, the short answer is, yes. The exact setup really depends on what your exact end goals are.
I hope I’ve answered your question thoroughly!

GuestAre you available to do any modifications if needed? I need a front end guest post for a site much like 800notes.com. I’ve been using a theme which had every element that I needed however the theme is failing on updates.
After an entry has been made by a user they should not be able to edit the submission. No registration required to create a listing or comment on a listing.
Registrations are reserved for people who want to flag a submission for removal.
Tell me what you think,
Valerie

re: I need a front end guest post for a site much like 800notes.com.
So I am on the same page, when you ask about guest posting, you mean guest blog posts, correct? If that is the case, then you might want a plugin like AccessPress. I’m not specifically endorsing or recommending this plugin, it’s just the first result of a Google search.

If you mean guest posting as in a guest submitting an entry to the directory, all you need is the Form extension.

Now, at this point you kind of lost me. Sorry. Could you provide more detail?
re: Are you available to do any modifications if needed?
For Connections related customization, yes, I am available and can provide a quote once project scope has been clearly defined.
