Ok, I figured it out … you’re running you admin with SSL, so the Google Maps API was being blocked because it was being run over non-SSL connection. I added a hot fix to you Connections install to load the API via SSL if it is detected.

ParticipantI’m also having a problem getting the map to show. Is there something else I need to install or setup to use this feature?
I can see the map when I press the “geo code” button on the connection entry page, but the map does not display when the page displays using the cmap template. (Yes, I did save the information after pressing the “geo code” button; but when I open the record again the map doesn’t automatically display. Should it?)

This issue is usually almost always related to an error in the theme or another plugins javascript. Can you please share a link to your directory.

ParticipantI too have been having a problem rendering maps. I do have another plugin (an IDX servce) that uses a map API. I have changed this from Google maps to Bing (if that helps) but still nothing.
