Just to clarify my understanding: Would using both Link and Form together keep users on the front-end? I don’t want to give access to the back-end.
Yes, with both of those extension installed and activated, your users will be able to edit their entry in the front-end. And you as the admin will be able to edit any entry from the front-end.
After you install these, you simply need to enable the List and Entry actions on the Connections : Settings admin page under the Display tab.
