    That would be great! The reason for multiple phones and emails is The church wants to list families with all information together. Is it possible to do this without having everyone listed with the family and separately too?

    Which exactly would be great??? You adding the custom address types as I suggested OR me working adding support for your specific use case in the CSV Import add on? It’ll probably take me a week or so to sort out the latter while the former can be done now.

    If you can add ability to update the csv import, that would be great. Then I could do multiple phone #’s and email addresses.

    I know this would be a much bigger project but is there anything in the works for the ability to add people to a family and not show them individually too. This would be useful when adding young children to a directory. Parents wouldn’t want them listed by themselves.

    I’ve made some headway on this today and its going well. So far better than expected though towards the end of the day I did hit a mental/code roadblock. Maybe with fresh eyes in the am will clear it up.

    Sorry, no there is not. Perhaps you would be interested in sponsoring a custom field which would allow you to add children … I’m thinking something simple, like a repeatable text input for the child’s name. The more details per child makes it more complicated. Let me know if you are interested.

    Hi Steven – Thanks so much for your work on the csv import! The child’s name custom field sounds like a great future development, but I am not able to sponsor that undertaking at this time.

    Ok thanks for letting me know! Also, I have made additional progress on updating the CSV Import to support importing multiples of the same type. This actually requires quite a few other enhancements that should improve it overall when doing very large imports.

    So far this seems to have gone pretty well… on my test install I seem to be able to import your CSV file without issue. I’ve still got some testing to do to help ensure no regressions. Some rather significant changes had to be made for this to work.
