I do not know where you would change this in a multi site install. On a single site you would change it on the on the WordPress General Settings admin page or by

Thanks Steven. As always you are very responsive and helpful. Just a note, on a multisite install you need to change the values via phpMyAdmin in wp_options under siteurl and home. Also you needed to change it in wp_sitemeta under siteurl to https.
