These are not errors or warnings. They are benign notices which can safely be ignored. If you are seeing them on a live site then the web host has configured the site to display notices (not typical). Here’s a link to a simple change you can make to suppress these notices:
https://aristath.github.io/blog/wp-hide-php-errors
On a live site it is a best practice to have your site configured not to display these notices.
Hope that helps!
ps. The reason for these notioces is that Connections has introduced new configuration features recently, the Fieldset Configuration options. When all of the fieldset options have been added (they’re being phased in), all templates will receive an update which will eliminate these notices from ever showing up.

ParticipantApparently the error messages were as a result of the fact that I have purchased several templates and extensions. None of which are able to be activated. Please advise.

RE: Apparently the error messages were as a result of the fact that I have purchased several templates and extensions.
No, the license status message you are receiving is not due to the number of templates or extensions purchased.
RE: None of which are able to be activated.
It appears all items have in fact been activated. Most items are activated on site http://ilnglobal.com and then remaining on http://18037e73fba3199efe21c6147cd142f5. I’m guessing the latter is some sort of dev site or something???
RE: License check response returned NULL.
The NULL status message is shown when your web host is not able to properly communicate with our server. Are the licenses which are receiving the NULL status message on the http://18037e73fba3199efe21c6147cd142f5 ? If they are, perhaps the site is not yet fully provisioned? Perhaps the web host is blocking some outgoing connections. If the http://18037e73fba3199efe21c6147cd142f5 site is a dev site, I would not worry about it until you push it live. I suspect that the issue will resolve itself.

ParticipantThe site is not a development site it is live although the page that I am working on for the directory is not part of the directory structure. I do not really understand why the errors are happening and in fact as a result I am not able to customize the various templates that I have paid for. I may need to ask for a refund if this in not resolved.

RE: I may need to ask for a refund if this in not resolved.
No worries, we will figure out why you are receiving this status message. License activate/status does not affect your ability to use the template or its features.
- Do all items show the NULL message? Or only the specific ones listed in your post above?
RE: in fact as a result I am not able to customize the various templates
As I just mentioned the license will not affect your ability to use the template.
- What exactly are you trying to customize?
- Can you please share a link to your directory page?

ParticipantI am working on grinder. I can customize but when I apply the template I am getting this http://www.ilnglobal.com/connections-directory/
You had mentioned before that there was something I could do to the system to stop the error notice. I do not know how to fix that.

You need to edit the WordPress configuration file. The link I gave you previously has the instructions.
https://aristath.github.io/blog/wp-hide-php-errors
Here is another link I found which is a little more beginner friendly:
http://www.wpbeginner.com/wp-tutorials/how-to-turn-off-php-errors-in-wordpress/
If you do not know how to do edit the WordPress config file, you will have to reach out to your web host support. They should be able to make that change for you quite quickly. Unfortunately this is not something I can do for you unless you can give me a FTP login to your site. If that is something your can give me, leave it here as a private reply and I’ll log in and make the change.

ParticipantThank you for your patience. All working fine now. Could you point me to where I could find help in how to display the results using “city” field.

RE: Thank you for your patience. All working fine now.
No problem! Question, when you say all fine — does that mean the NULL license status message is correct now. If it is, then I suspect another plugin was causing a PHP notice during remote connections which in turn corrupted the response. So suppressing them allowed the response to pass thru un altered.
RE: Could you point me to where I could find help in how to display the results using “city” field.
Could you give me more details on what you are trying to accomplish with the city field? That will help me a lot in giving you a correct answer. thanks!
