Question… are you copy/pasting the text from the docx file straight into the bio field?
If you are, first, click the “Text” tab, then paste the text. Does that allow you to save the entry without the denied error?

ParticipantSteven,
I get the same error when pasting as “text”.

Hmmm… I’m out of ideas. Never seen this occur before. If you can give me a temp WP admin login and a FTP login, I can take a closer look.

After some testing on your site… and this is weird.
A short bio (or any field in Connections) with
+will work (or seem to), longer text which include+in the text fail. As soon as they are removed there are no issues.I can not replicate this, but I’m running a far newer version of Connections. So that could mean something though I’m not sure why it would.
The only other thing I can think of is that for some reason it is triggering a mod_sec PHP setting the web host has setup. I’m not certain that’s either because posts/pages can be created just fine with the same text whether or not
+are in it. I would expect, unlist those were whitelisted, that the mod_sec rule would be triggered too. When I get FTP access, I’ll take another look.
I also suggest asking your web host wy a form submission would trigger a 403 on your site with that content. Maybe they have some insight. I do doubt you will get a decent answer though, generally tech support can not answer such technical question (in my experience anyway).

ParticipantSteven,
Thanks for all of the help!
I noticed those files this morning too, we’ll get them fixed asap.
Thanks for the feedback on the plugins and security plugins.
I will contact the host.
Thank you!
