We just moved our connections plugin and database to another URL on the same server. Since the move some of our entries get the following error when saving:
You don’t have permission to access /wp-admin/admin.php on this server.
Any advice on what the issue would be?
Thanks!03/28/2017 at 1:21 pm #417633
Only some of the entries, not all? If that is the case, I can not fathom a reason why this would occur.
My only suggestion at this point is to navigate to the Connections : Roles admin page and reset all role capabilities. Let me know if that helps or not.03/30/2017 at 9:53 am #418108
That didn’t seem to help. Any other ideas?03/30/2017 at 10:18 am #418112

Do you by chance have some htaccess rules in place that are somehow being triggered?03/31/2017 at 5:32 pm #418416
the only thing we’ve setup in the htaccess file are the permalinks.
I’m not able to create a new entry either.03/31/2017 at 5:37 pm #418417
Just noticed something strange –
If I enter a short bio, the page saves without issue.
But then when I copy the full bio for the entry I get the error.
Example: http://foodandspirit.com/directory-of-certified-food-spirit-practitioners/name/cat-caruso/04/03/2017 at 9:40 am #418650
Ok, try this, create an entry with a longer bio but make sure to use only “standard” characters, ie. do not use symbols like
Does that work or not?
This does sound like a PHP config issue. I suspect either
max_input_varsneed increased because the issue sounds a lot like this one being discussed in Stack Overflow.
CAn you navigate to the Connections : Tools admin page and click the Tools tab. Scroll to the bottom and click the Generate a URL for Remote Viewing. Reply back with that URL as a private reply.

So, If you add the same 4 long paragraphs into a new entry but add symbols, do you get the denied error?04/03/2017 at 10:22 am #418668This reply has been marked as private.
