Can you please give me the steps/links clicked in order for me to reproduce the Customizer not loading?
I logged in and clicked Customizer under the Appearance WP menu item and the Customizer loaded just fine.
I exited the Customizer and then navigated to Connections : Templates admin page and clicked the Customize button for both cMap and the Default template. In both instances the Customizer loaded fine.
I looked at the recently active plugins list and reactivated the Child Theme Configurator plugin and repeated those steps. The Customizer still loaded as it should. I then deactivated Child Theme Configurator since it did not seem to make a difference.
I’m guess I am misunderstanding what the issue is exactly so the have the exact steps to reproduce will help me replicate and debug it.

Ops, forgot to answer the other question… set the entry to unlisted to have it not show. You can then set it back to public when you are ready to have it show.

ParticipantYes the customizer under the Appearance WP menu was working, I meant the customizer from the Connections templates. When the customizer opens and the default template shows there is no background color, the bio and notes don’t show when clicked and the map doesn’t appear at all. I set the google map according to the directions. I assumed it was the customized. Is there some other setting I have screw up?

RE: When the customizer opens and the default template shows there is no background color, the bio and notes don’t show when clicked and the map doesn’t appear at all.
The Default template does not have a background color. The two entries you have added, there are no notes or bio entered, so, they will not display anything. Can not show it if there is nothing to show. The Default template also does not show a map.
I assume you you wish to customize cMap??? If that is the case, you need to click the Customize button for cMap. Still, there are no notes or bios entered for your two entries so there is nothing to show.
As for the map, your Google Maps API key is not setup correctly. Hit the F12 key and click the Console tab. You’ll see this error, from Google, “Google Maps API error: RefererNotAllowedMapError“. This mean you have a referrer restriction, which you should. But the referrer you have setup is not correct. Please see Step 4 in the Google Maps API key tutorial for a recommended referrer setting.
If you want cMap to be used to display your directory, click its “Activate” button on Connections : Templates admin page. See the cMap installation instructions for step by step instructions.
Hope this helps!

RE: When you asked for my log on info, I thought I sent it private but I see it showing up in the forum would you please delete all instances?
They were in fact private. That is why they showed up in blue. You can check by logging out. Those posts content will not be displayed. Regardless, I delete the login info as requested.
RE: How do I display a certain category instead of show all categories?
See the category shortcode option.
Hope that helps!
