re: How do I remove it from this page?
- Go to the Connections : Template admin page.
- Click the Customize button for the cMap template.
- Navigate to the Category Select panel in the Customizer (the left
side). - Uncheck the Enable Category Filter option.
- Click the Save and Publish button.
- Exit the Template Customizer.
Hope that helps!

GuestRunning WordPress 4.3.1
Connections 8.5.1, cMap Template 4.1
In the Templates page, the “Customize” button appears next to “Default Entry Card 3.0” and “Profile Entry Card 3.0” but not the active cMap template.
Please advise.

Template Customizer support for cMap requires cMap 5.0. You need to update. I see you have not activated your support license in order to receive the update…
- Go to your purchase history.
- Click the View Licenses link for the cMap purchase.
- Click the Key icon to and copy your support license key.
- Go to the Connections : Settings admin page and activate your support license key for cMap under the License tab.
- Go to the Plugins admin page and click the update link for cMap.
- You should now be able to see the Customize button.
Hope that helps! Enjoy.
ps. I recommend activating your support license key for the other items you have purchased too. This way you will receive your free updates.

ParticipantThanks for the quick and helpful response! Issue resolved.
Unfortunately, I’m now having the same problem discussed here:

Good to hear that is resolved! I didn’t notice any new posts for the Template Customizer. Is that resolved too?

GuestSteven, no unfortunately I’m having the same problem as some other users: the Customize menu briefly appears then disappears, even with all plugins deactivated.
As I’m under a deadline, is this the proper way to *manually* hide the Categories Dropdown, using CSS?

Do you have a Themify theme? If you do, this could explain it.
re: is this the proper way to manually hide the Categories Dropdown
Yep, see this.
Hope that helps!

GuestNo, I’m using iThemes’ Builder, with their Easton as a child theme. When I get the time, I may dig into the code to see what’s causing it …
In the meantime, will disable the Categories Dropdown manually.
Despite this little glitch, an otherwise AWESOME plugin package, and FANTASTIC support; thanks!
