ParticipantHi there. I hope this isn’t a redundant question I just can’t read through all of the posts. I’m very new to designing my own site, and purchased the Market Template last week. I am wondering if/how there’s a feature to set up my directory entries by state and in alphabetical order? For example, all businesses in Arizona would be shown together from A to Z. Not sure about added extensions or what best options would be to set this up. Thanks in advance!

Sorry, there is no built in way to automatically to do entry grouping. They only way to do this would bee to set this up manually using the state filter. This would require a shortcode instance for each state. Depending on what other requirements you may have this could result in a need for a more complex configuration.
Alternatively, you could enable the Region link option on the Connections : Settings admin page under the Advanced tab.
With this enabled, the state part of addresses would become links and when a user clicks on the link the results will be filtered by the state that was clicked.
I hope that helps!

ParticipantThank you, absolutely and I will give it a try! On a site that was listed as a “live demo” when you clicked on their directory listing and it opened up, there were several pictures available to see. Is that also a shortcode option?

This may seem like an odd question … but which live demo, can you paste the link to it here?

ParticipantSorry I had to find it! I think now looking at it its not embedded in the directory, but a part of the page. I’m not quite sure. Here’s the link. http://www.iloveeurekasprings.com/business-directory/name/island-grill-and-sports-bar/

ParticipantWhat I’d like to do on my directory, is when you click on an entry person and it opens up to another page, it shows the map, an image and the contacts. How can I add additional images to that section if its possible?
Here’s a link for you to see what I’m talking about.

Ok, I see they are just using the cMap template. Looks stock, no customization that I can see after a quick look.
The images, they are all in the bio field. You can add as many images as you like in that field.
The http://theswagsinthebag.com site, is the Market template. It too will show any images that are added to the bio field.
Hope that helps!

ParticipantThanks, I appreciate it! Can we do a separate directory for each state? So if you purchased the plug in, can you create multiple directories and do it that way?
