ParticipantI asked this question as a pre-sales question before but I can’t find the thread to know what your answer was.
I want to know if members can login and edit their own listing?
You told me about 2 plugins to use but I forget what they are. Could you explain to me what I would have to do to have my directory setup so members could login and edit their own listing.
Thank you

re: I want to know if members can login and edit their own listing?
It is the Link extension. This extension will allow registered user create and maintain their entry. If an entry already exists and the user logs in with a email address matching an entry, that entry will be linked their user account which will allow that user to maintain that entry even if they change the email address in the entry or their user account. This is possible because once a link is made, it is persistent.
The other extension you might be interested in is the Form extension. This will add frontend editing for both the site admin and users linked to entries by the Link extension.
Hope that answers your questions thoroughly!
ps. Here are the docs for those two extensions to help you get started.

ParticipantThat is exactly what I was looking for. Thank You!
Since I have this thread, I would like to ask 2 more questions….
- Is it possible to change the “font-size” of the web address link that shows up in the bottom right-hand corner of the tile theme? I tried finding it in the CSS but could not find it. Is there a way to change that font size somewhere?
- Is it possible to have 2 directories on 1 site? I have a business directory that lists on the tile cards all the info about a business. We also want to be able to list individual persons that will only have their name and email address on the card. Is it possible for me to have a business directory and also have an individual persons directory on the same site?
Thank you!

You can use this CSS to change the font-size:
#cn-tile-plus .cn-entry { font-size: 13px !important; }re: Is it possible to have 2 directories on 1 site? I have a business directory that lists on the tile cards all the info about a business. Yes, this is possible by splitting up the directory based on category. Many, many users do exactly this. Here’s a link explaining how to do this with cMap. The technique will work with Tile Plus too (all premium templates actually).
Hope that helps!

ParticipantSteven,
Thank you for the quick response.
You told me to use the CSS code you listed…… forgive me but could you tell me exactly “where” I would put that CSS code?
