ParticipantSo after upgrading to Pro a couple weeks ago I didn’t realize that now when you click on the contact it takes you to a 404 page
What is the fix for this?

Does this still happen after you disabled the page caching plugin you are using?

ParticipantI’m not sure what you’re referring to, I’m unaware of a page caching plugin?
it’s actually not a 404 I guess, it’s an “oops you blew up the internet”
Have a look:

RE: I’m unaware of a page caching plugin?
At the bottom of the page, in the source, it has this:
<!--Generated by Endurance Page Cache-->
After a quick Google search… it is installed by BlueHost.
Please try clearing the cache. If that does not work, try disabling it.
RE: it’s actually not a 404 I guess, it’s an “oops you blew up the internet”
Actually it is, your theme just happens to have a custom 404 page.
Let me know what you learn!

I though I check in on the status? Also, I you wish, I could take a quick look. I would a temp admin account. YOu can use this plugin to create it:

ParticipantNo I haven’t been on the computer the last week or so very much, but I am tonight and hope to get it resolved.
I have no idea what Bluehost is or why it’s page caching – I will post this problem on the Theme’s help forum too.
But I will try to find a walk-thru to clear the cache, I’ve never done it before so I don’t know where/how to do it. But why would this even be a problem like this?
I will create the login for you and send you a PM as you requested.
Thank you.

ParticipantOk I posted about this over on the Apex forums for the X & Pro Themes:
https://theme.co/apex/forum/t/is-there-a-page-caching-plugin-by-bluehost-installed-in-pro/32246
Hi There,
Thank you for writing in, yeah I saw a few site with a built-in caching plugin from Bluehost, see under Settings > General and see Cache Level you can set that to 0 to turn it Off. To clear it, see the adminbar at the top hover the Caching and Purge All
If clearing cache does not resolve your 404 page issue, please navigate to Settings > Permalinks and just re-save it.
Cheers!
Ok I did all of that & it still isn’t working – any other ideas on your end?
