GuestThe directory was working fine and now the category dropdown is not functioning. I did see the previous posts but they referred to an earlier version.
Your assistance is appreciated.

Two things to try first. Please upgrade Connections to 0.7.6.3. This should be showing on the Plugins admin page as an upgrade. Which version of cMap do you have installed? I also recommend upgrading to the latest.

GuestI upgraded to latest version of Connections and that did not resolve the problem. I don’t see where to upgrade the cmap theme. How do I get that?

ParticipantNever mind, I see the link you provided. But, my client made the initial purchase and I don’t have the account login info. They are looking for it but so far cannot find it. I do have the Transaction ID# if that will help.
Thanks

GuestOK, I’ve upgraded the template to the latest version and the dropdown is still not working. This is happening on this site: http://circlecranch.com/business-directory/ and on this one http://swaustinneighborhoods.com/business-directory/ . Both have the latest version of Connections and the cmap template.
Please let me know how to get them working again. Both were working perfectly until recently.

Actually, you’re still running an old version of cMap. You have 2.0.10, the current is 3.0.1. However, the template is still working fine, if you click on any of the category names, the results are being shown correctly. The actual issue is that absolutely none of the Connections CSS files are being loaded in the page head.
I have never seen this before. This would be caused by the theme not having the wp_head() in the theme’s header.php file. I’ve looked at the page source and there is evidence that this template tag is in the file like it should be, but could you confirm so we can be certain?
Is see that you’re running a pretty much current version of WordPress, so that is not the issue.
I’m afraid you’ll have to deactivate plugin one by one to see if there is a plugin conflict.

ParticipantOK, I went back and checked the template installation instructions and re-installed cmap 3.0.1 through the plugins admin and activated it. But when I look in the Connections template admin I do not see a way to activate it. It still shows the 2.0.10 version running.
Any suggestions for how to get the new one activated?

KeymasterYes … You need to delete the old version, that’s part of the upgrade instructions. If the old cMap is already active, activate the default template and then delete the old version. After the old version is deleted, the new one will show up.
After you do that, you should be up and running.

ParticipantI do not see how to delete the old cmap template in the templates admin page.

KeymasterDid you active the Default Entry Card template? If you did, then a Delete link should show up, allowing you to delete the template.
If it doesn’t, that that may mean the template was installed in the Connections plugin folder rather than the connections_templates folder. Delete is not an option when a template is located in that folder.
Can you confirm the folder path that the older version of cMap is installed?
