ParticipantI just bought and installed the new slim-plus 2 after I’ve used the Slim Plus 1 before. I first deactivated the old slim-plus, installed the new one and did reactivate it. But it doesn’t seem to work and looks quite strange. Any idea ? I can give you access to the page if you need to have it.

KeymasterMake sure you’ve deleted Slim 1. If it still exists, the dynamic template loader could be loading its files thinking they are custom template override files.
Check to make sure the core CSS is still enabled. The setting is found on the Connections : Settings admin page under the Advanced tab.
Another thing to check. Edit the page where you inserted the
[connections]shortcode. Click theTexttab in the upper right of the post editor. Now make sure there is no HTML tags in or around the shortcode. Those tags, if they exist, break the WordPress shortcode parser and odd things can happen. If you do all this and that doesn’t help … you’ll need to share a link to the page so I can take a closer look and offer more specific advice.
Hope that helps!

ParticipantDear Steven,
thx for reply…
1. Make sure you’ve deleted Slim 1: YES.
2. Check to make sure the core CSS is still enabled: YES
3. Shortcode: OKThe problem seems to be that the Style definitions (e.g. H3) has a higher priority in the main style of the theme and definitions like border or background are not set correct. I added a custom style and defined all necessary parameters.
thx. for your help.
