I have it set to image grid however it is not displaying any images, just an empty grid with the category names.
Did you attach images to the categories? Can you attach a screenshot?
how do I attach images to the categories? Now when I go to edit the categories it tells me “sorry you are not allowed to access this page” – what’s that about?
When you edit the Connections categories, you will have the option to attach an image from the Media Libray.
It seems the login you are using does not have the correct user role capabilities. Try this first, navigate to the Connections:Roles admin page. Select the reset all roles option. Does that fix it?

Did one of these solution correct the issue for you?
Yes. resetting the roles did it for me. And you were right I had not gotten forms (as I intended) I got Link, so I got Forms and downloaded it and now it’s working although not yet as I would like it to so I’m still working on that.
Great to hear you now have access to the Categories page. If you have any questions about Form, please do not hesitate to ask.
