ParticipantHI Steven
I use my connections to list all of my employees that are hired thru me. I want the visitors on my site to use the email entry form to contact from the employee page they want to work with, but i want to know if i can customize the form so i know which of my workers contact form they are emailing me from. Curious if the subject could include the workers contact they chose to use the ’email entry’ from.
tl dr; 10 contacts with all the same email, want to know if subject can help me identify which of the 10 contacts is getting emailed. thanks

Are the emails being sent to you somehow instead of each individual? If they are, did you accomplish this by setting the individual entry email address all to your email address? If that is what you did, the original entry name would still be populated in the To field.
Changing the subject like you are asking would require some PHP changes to the plugin. Is this something you would feel comfortable doing?

ParticipantI do not see a “To:” field. I only see Name, Email Address, Subject, Message.
If It did show the “To: current displayed contact” then that would be great. Anyway to accomplish that?

Well, that would be a function of the email app you are using. In Gmail on the web, the To field is displayed right underneath the From name (assuming you have the inbox configured to display the email preview).
The To field exists as it is how you actually receive the email.
Hope this helps!

ParticipantI am not articulating myself well. Attached is a screen shot. You see the email entry is attached to a particular doctor. When a person emails him, i want it to come to me. I am doing these for more than one doctor. I need to be able to identify which of the doctors the message is intended for. I want to know if there is a way for the contact/profile/page ID to be included in the email entry to me. So I am able to identify which of the doctors they are trying to contact. This is in lieu of me creating email addresses for each doctor since that is not cost or time effective. Thanks

No, I understand what you are asking. Using your screenshot as an example. And, assuming you set the email address for R**** N**** as your email address s****@h*stde****ts.com. The email will be sent to:
s****@h*stde****ts.com <R**** N****>The name
R**** N****will be displayed in your email app/client in theTofield. Now, assuming all the entries in Connection have been set to your email address, each individual entry name will be displayed in your email app/client in the To field.Which email app/client do you use?

ParticipantI use outlook. I am looking at the TO section of the email that comes in and it has my name listed and not the name of the doctors contact where the email entry resides.

Outlook the app or web client? I suspect it is MS being “helpful”, again. They do all sorts of things that makes one scratch their head. I suspect since you are receiving the email they display your name because it must be to you if you’re receiving it.
Can you attach a screenshot of the original email headers? Here’s how to find it:

ParticipantI am using Outlook 365. I do think you are right about MS helpfulness. Is there a way to circumvent this? Attached a SS
