ParticipantI have been trying all morning to get a CSV file, created in Google Sheets, to import using the CSV import plugin. It appears to work, with no errors, but when I go to manage my entries, there are none there. I think I’ve read everything, and am not sure what I’m doing wrong.
I’ve tried with the categories in no quotes, and single quotes. Didn’t make a difference.
I’m attaching the file, as a text file and a csv file. I’d appreciate any insight you may have.

Sounds like you added an
Entry IDcolumn and are mapping it on import. This is only for updating existing entries. Please try importing the CSV file without mapping theEntry IDcolumn.Hope this helps, let me know.

ParticipantThank you for looking at this, Steven. That is not the case, though. There is an ID column, but I left this as ‘Do Not Import’. Any idea what else I could be doing wrong?

Do you have both a first and last name column and mapping those if importing individuals? OR mapping organization if importing organizations? Like outlined in the CSV file requirements? If they are not, that would cause nothing to be imported.

ParticipantAll are organizations (businesses) and I am mapping a business name to Organization.

Can you give me a temp WP admin login and I’ll take a look? Details can be posted here as a private reply.
Is the file you attached originally still current? Can you also attach a screenshot showing the mapping you are using?

ParticipantI am working on the site locally, using WAMP, so I don’t think this is possible. Attached are documents showing the mapping of the fields, and a new copy of the CSV file.

ParticipantHi Steve,
Are you able to tell, from the mapping information & my listing file, what I am doing wrong?

Yes, I have been working on this most the day in fact. And was typing my reply as I received your latest query.
I was able to replicate this on my test site. I was not able to find the exact cause but it was either related the file not being able to be parsed properly due to some of the serialized field data. Maybe all the extra quotes was making it an invalid CSV file. There was also two
Titlefields. This could have been breaking the mapping.I was able to import just fine once the extraneous fields were removed from the file. So that is my suggestion.
Now, that said, I did find a bug with the import of categories. The categories with
&in the name were not being imported. It took me a while to track down why and correct. I’m not sure when this bug was introduced as I know it was not an issue before.I’m working on pushing an update to CSV Import in the next couple hours. Look for it in your WP and update. (Note: you’ll have to activate your license on the site to update with thin the admin. Alternatively, you can manually apply the update. Since you are working in WAMP, I assume you know how to do that.)
Apologies for the troubles, let me know how it goes.
