Hmmm, ok, so maybe there is still a bug with WP 3.8.x code in Connections. I’ll have to load up that version and give it a test.

GuestHi,
I’m encountering the same problem, even after the update saying the Visual Editor thing was fixed.
WP: 3.9.1
Connections: 0.8.11
Database: 0.1.9
Browser: Firefox 29.0 on Ubuntu 13.10Visual editor does not show up at all, only HTML input possible. If I click on “Visual” the editor disappears. If I further click some times on “Text” and “Visual” the Icon bar appears, but the input field remains invisible.

GuestAs a side note, just recently, I’m no longer able to set a message in the Require Login dialog box in both Chrome or Firefox, so it may be a problem with the plugin.
It does not matter whether I post in the Visual or Text tab, I can input text, but as soon as I hit submit, the page displays settings saved and no text in the message entry box.
Please advise.

GuestSteven,
I have the same issue where the contents of the Require Login Message box fails to record contents upon save. While waiting for a solution, is it possible to manually enter the information into the MySQL table?
Thanks

I’m not able to duplicate, but I do not have a Linux install to test on. I tested the loading of the visual editor on Chrome, FireFox and IE — all the latest version.
Can you try other browsers to see if it just isn’t a Linux/FireFox issue (can’t see why it would be honestly).

I’ve replied to this issue in this thread. In short, I’ve fixed the issue and will be releasing a bugfix release which addresses this.

GuestHi,
sorry for the delay.
My problem ist solved. It was caused by:
http://connections-pro.com/faqs/cforms-ii/I think it is worth mentioning that cForms now contains a function in global settings to “repair error with TinyMCE caused by other plugins”. Activating this option worked for me.
(Even though I do not want to blame ANY side to have “caused” this issue.)Thanks!
Regards

Thanks for the feedback!
I use to use cformII, but that hasn’t been updated in years, right? That’s why I stopped using it. I couldn’t find anything about it being updated recently…
WP 3.8 had a major overhaul to the editor which caused every plugin that used it to issues updates. My guess is cformsII hasn’t been updated. Just guessing though…
