GuestHello,
I’m getting a 500 server error when doing just about anything with the plugin. It was working fine yesterday and for some reason today isn’t. This is happening when I try to add a category, delete an entry, when I click the All/Approved/Moderate links.
I saw the other post and increased my memory size but the problem persists. I also disabled all other plugins and switched to the 2015 default theme just in case. Nothing.
The exact error I receive is:
The XYZ page isn’t working
XYZ is currently unable to handle this request.
HTTP ERROR 500
Please let me know what to do. Thanks,
~Mike

Have you looked in the PHP error log? If you haven’t I suggest looking there first. If you do not know where it is, you’ll have to ask the web host.
Can you share your system info with me. You can create a remote viewing link on the Connections : Tool admin page under the System Info tab at the very bottom.

GuestHey @Steven,
Thank you for the response. I’ve pinged our host for more information.
As far as the remote viewing link goes, the site is in a staging state so you won’t be able to access the URL generated without a username and password. Is there a way I can PM that info to you?

The system info looks fine. Were you able to view the PHP error log? NOt that I think this will be the solution, but worth a try, please deactivate, delete and reinstall. YOu will not lose any existing data.

GuestI was not able to get access to the server log, and our host wasn’t able to replicate the issue. They did make some change on the server side, asked me to clear my cache and restart my system, but that didn’t fix it for me (or a remote co-worker).
I’ve just deactivated, deleted, and reinstalled and am still having the same issue. If you think of anything else, please let me know. I’m waiting to hear back from the host to see what they find.

If you can give me a temp WP admin login, a FTP login and a login to the web host control panel for the site. I’ll take a look tomorrow. Details can be posted here.
