Apologies for the delay in my reply! I received it after hours on Friday and I took Monday off with the family.
The only way to change the content of the Gridder contact panel would be to actually edit the PHP and CSS of Gridder in order to display what you need. In order accomplish this you would need a fairly good grasp of both. If you do, let me know and I can provide some guidance.

If I understand correctly, sorry, no, this can not be done.
The closest is if a WP User which is also a publisher of content on the site has been linked to a Connections Entry. On the respective Connections Entry Profile page, the Authored addon would list the latest posts of that WP User.
Hope this helps!

Navigate to your Purchase History page and then click the Downloads tab. If the license key has not expired, you will be able to download the latest version from there. License keys can be renewed on the same page under the Licenses tab.
Hope this helps!
ps. On the site you have it installed, if you navigate to the Connections : Settings admin page and click the Licenses tab. You will be able to activate your license on the site which will enable in admin updates of the template. Meaning, as updates to cmPA are released, you will see it listed on you Plugins admin page. Updating would then be a single click of the Update Now link.
pss. I can’t remember if the older version you have installed presently had in the in admin update features so you might not see it until you install a newer version.

The shortcode needs to follow the example supplied in the instructions:
[cn_multi_category_search category="x||Default Text in Dropdown|Search Results: %s,y||Default Text in Dropdown|Search Results: %s,z||Default Text in Dropdown|Search Results String"]You also need multiple parent category tree structure setup on the Connections Categories admin page. Looking at your directory page, you have a simple small list of categories. So, I am unsure of exactly what you are trying to accomplish with adding multiple category search options.
Sample Category Tree with Sample Shortcode
- Audiologists – ID 19
- Child Category 1
- Child Category 2
- Child Category 3
- Clinics – ID 23
- Child Category 1
- Child Category 2
- Child Category 3
- Disability Services – ID 32
- Child Category 1
- Child Category 2
- Child Category 3
[cn_multi_category_search category=”19||Search for Audiologists|Search Results: %s,23||Search for Clinics|Search Results: %s,32||Search for Disability Services|Search Results String” enable_zipcode=true]
This will result in three dropdowns where the children categories of the respective parent categories are listed as options with a zip code radius search field.
In regards, to just the shortcode text displaying, if you copy/pasted from the email, the underlying HTML within the email was also copy/pasted likely breaking WordPress’s ability to properly parse the shortcode.
To correct this, delete the entire shortcode, switch the editor to the Text tab and then manually type it in and be careful not to misspell anything.
After you have the shortcode corrected and it display, remember to disable the category filter and keyword search in the cMap template so they do not conflict/confuse the user.
Hope this helps!

KeymasterRE: What my clients wants is the ability to edit and not add. Is that possible?
Navigate to the Connections : Roles admin page. Scroll to the user role assigned to your WP Users and remove the Add Entry capability.
RE: back to Jason and Janet at ABC company. Jason logs in and simply sees View All and View all categories. Janet on the other hand sees View All, Edit My Listing, and View All Categories. Jason should not be able to add a new business. At least that is how we would like it.
Assign the users to different roles and assign the Connections capabilities according to whether or not you want that user to be able to add or edit.
Hope that helps!

KeymasterRE: having multiple individuals from the same organizations being able to link them to the same company. Any thoughts?
Sorry, this is not possible as it is a one-2-one relationship between a WP User and Connections entry. Add a many-2-one relationship would cause plenty of trouble troubles.
The ABC company should have the own user account, and so should Jason and Janet. The personing managing ABC company would in effect have two account to manage.
RE: Is there a way we can hide the add my directory and not the view my directory?
Sorry, no, because the link is dynamic based on whether the current user has a linked entry or not.
Not sure this helps, but I hope it does!

An even slightly older CSV Import plugin was required for the version of Connections installed on the site. I was able to import your test CSV file without issue after installing it.
You probably should delete those multiple new version of Connections that are installed but deactivated so you do not run into conflicts.
Lastly, all empty columns in the CSV, you should remove those when you do your CSV import. Even though the columns are empty, they still have to be parse and processed. Since there are empty that causes a lot of unnecessary overhead.
Hope this helps!

RE: Things seem to be working well, except the on the entry form page, the category dropdown isn’t working, though it has categories to select.
There seems to be a conflict with the theme. They are, globally, enhancing select dropdowns instead of selectively enhancing select dropdowns used within their theme. This is breaking the enhanced select dropdown in Connections. Basically they both are thring to do their thing to the same input.
Here’s an article from the theme’s support pages which explains how to disable theirs:
https://kb.kadencethemes.com/knowledge-base/disable-select-2/
After you follow their directions and clear any pages caches then, Form should work properly.
RE: can a visitor select more than 1 category when submitting a form?
Yes, the visitor will be able to choose more than one.
RE: It seems the Title of the category pages become a breadcrumb, instead of only showing the title of the category or the individual page.
Yes, this is applied for SEO purposes and can be disabled on the Connections : Settings admin page under the SEO tab. You’ll want to disable the Page Title option in the Page Display section.
Hope this helps!
