This is not listed on the Pro Pack Bundle page yet due to it still being in beta. I send it to any Pro Pack user who requests it. It is actually only in beta because it requires changes to the WP Google Maps Pro plugin, listed here:

The beta will work without these few changes, but I do not wish to release it because of the way the Google Map Connector integrates with the WP Google Maps Pro plugin; it overrides their categories. Without a change to make it possible to make this override selectively, the categories in the WP Google Maps pro plugin can not be used in other maps not attached to Connections. This is fine as long as you wish not to use that WP Google Maps Pro feature.

I hope this answers your question thoroughly!

It would change the link structure on the detailes; but if you are only showing this to users to view details it should not matter as the main page is to show the list of entries, that link structure will not change. You can try my suggestion to see if it is a workable solution or not for you. If it does not, you can remove the shortcode option.

Another option is to not display the search results message. You can disable it on the Connections Settings admin page under the Display tab. Your users would only have to use the back button in their browser to go back a page.

    I hope this helps!

On the detailes page, set the home_id shortcode option to the page that it should go back to. This will affect the other directory links in the Entry details too, not just the clear button link.

On the Connections Manage admin page, click the Screen Options tab. Change the image type and click the apply button. Entries missing the chosen image will have a placeholder shown instead. You can use this to determine which Entries are missing the shown image type and update each with a missing image. You can then change the image type again in the Screen Options tab and do the same for the other image type.

    I hope this helps!

Great to hear that worked out for you!

The logo/photo must be a fully qualified publically accessible URL. The way to test your URL, copy-paste it from the CSV file into the browser’s address bar; if the image loads, then WP will be able to fetch and import it. If you get a 404 message or other error, the image is not accessible to WP and can not be imported.

I recommend uploading the image to the ../wp-content/uploads/temp folder on the server you are importing the image into. The temp will not exist; you will have to create it (note, it does not need to be named “temp”; the name does not matter).

    I hope this helps!

It sounds like it may have been a caching issue that clear itself. Great to hear this is reslved!

Hmmm, that is odd. Can you please attach a screenshot showing the update message and the additional information screen for cMap on your site? I want to see what version WordPress “thinks” is installed and what version it, “thinks” it needs to update to.

Known issues you may want to consider:

    • If your Entries have more than one address when doing a zip/address search, each address for that single Entry will appear on the map regardless of whether that address is within the search radius when doing a zip/address search. There is nothing that I can do about that. WP Google Maps needs to make a minor change to their query class to be appropriately filtered.
    • You will not be able to use the category features in WP Google Maps. To support the Store Locator category feature, Connections must take over the categories. Unfortunately, there is no way in WP Google Maps to take over the categories on a per map basis.

Please open a support ticket, and I can give you the link to the download and instructions for use.

One essential item I forgot to mention, you will need the Pro WP Google Maps plugin to work with the Connector because the Connect requires feature only available in the Pro version.
