Fantastic! Please contact me using the Contact link at the very bottom of the page and we’ll get this moving forward :)
I’ve already looked at what changes I need to make and I think this can be done quickly and for a very reasonable fee.

re: So you mean if I choose each photo to be 400X400, I need to upload the photo at that exact size to get the results I want, instead of uploading a high-res original image and have the system do the autocropping?
No, you can upload the original image. You just need to keep in mind that when the auto cropping is applied that is is center weighted, meaning, when the crop is applied, the image will be scaled down to fit the size you choose and then the exceed cropped off the sides and/or the top and bottom evenly. So if you are uploading images of families, you will need to make sure there is enough image that no one is cropped off.
re: Also, how hard is it to add tat alphabetical index above the photos, seen here?
It is not hard at all. It is a setting on the Connections : Settings admin page under the Display tab.

This was turned on when you set up the Form extension. you can turn it back off by disabling this setting. Found on the Connections : Settings admin page under the Display tab in the Result List Action section.
Hope that helps!

You can do either. But it sounds like you want your users to maintain their own entries. If that is the case, then you need at least the Link extension and you’ll very likely want the Form extension too.
Hope that answers your question.

re: screenshot
Not sure what the screenshot is supposed to show??? It looks like you have 12 active plugins but he screenshot only shows the top 2.
re: the plugin is not showing on the menu bar
I’m wondering… cMap required the core Connections Business Directory plugin to be installed. If it does not show in your admin menu, then I think the tech may not have installed it. That is the very first installation instruction.
My suggestion is to verify whether or not Connections installed and if it is not, ask you tech to install it for you.

The first thing that comes to mind is perhaps the memory allocated to PHP is being exhausted. hard to image with only 35 entries. But my first suggestion is to try increasing this value. YOu might need you web hosts help do do this. I suggest a setting of 128MB.
Here’s a link to a article that provides several methods to increase this value. Which one that will work for you really depends on the web host. Try starting at the top of the list and work your way down.
You can see the memory limit value on the Connections : Tools admin page under the System Info tab.
Hope that helps. Let me know.

Make sure your support license keys are added and activated on the Connections : Settings page under the Licenses tab for both Form and Link.
It appears you may have activated them on a dev site, you’ll have to deactivate them on the dev site first, before you will be able to activate on your live site.
Hope that helps, Let me know.

Hmmm… perhaps this is a bug with WordPress and not Connections as these links are created using the core WordPress
paginate_links()function.Ahhh… scratch that! That is a bug in Connections. Looking at the code in
paginate_links()it does appear that WP does add a trailing slash as a default when setting up the paged defaults, something I do override in order to be able to use this function. I changed my defaults to match which will not add the trailing slash. Thanks for reporting the issue! The fix will be included in the next release.

The image size in Gridder is adjustable. See this doc page:
http://connections-pro.com/documentation/gridder/#Grid_Size
Something to keep in mind though is the template is designed with using profile shots so the auto cropping is set to be center weighted so you might have to preprocess the images to take that into account so people at the ends of the photo are not cropped of.
Hope that answers your question thoroughly!
