I’m going to close this thread. Let’s keep the conversation in this thread to keep it easier to track for the both of us.

My best guess is some removed the permissions Connections adds to WordPress. But that seems unlikely since it only affecting the address and phone fields. I have not run across this before so this issue seems to be unique. TO debug further I’ll need a temp admin account. The login details can be posted here as a private reply.

re: this is my 3rd attempt at trying to get a response to my inquiry.
I responded back each time…

Please try my suggestions from both of the replies and let me know the results. Thanks.

Nope, not at all … I’m the same way … that way I know it wasn’t something I did wrong.

Oh, ok, that message. I wasn’t understanding, apparently. Clicking the button does nothing???
That said, the db update is very minor. It just adds a new column to the table that Connections saves the main entry data to.
As for editing your profile… I believe the forum uses the Gravatar image registered to your email address. Since you have the default image, my guess is you need to create a Gravatar account and register your email address with it. after you do that, you can change the image to anything you want.

Perhaps the fields were inadvertently hidden??? Make sure they are enabled un the Screen Options of both the add and edit admin pages.
Let me know if that helps!

It looks like you may have activated the support licenses on dev site. What you should do is deactivate them. When you launch the site, then activate the licenses. If you are pushing the entire db and file system as part of your launch, that should be all you need to do.

Well, I am just assuming it is a dev site because the URL is one that looks like it would be a dev site. Anyway, here’s the URL:
d1394297-71040.blacknighthosting.com/swibn.com/
If you no longer have access to this site, you can also manage you license activations on your purchase history page under the Licenses tab.
Hope that helps!

This actually an issue with wp.org and not Connections. The only solution is to wait a little and try again. Apologies for the trouble!
