Steven, we are finally about to launch a site we’ve been working on with the Pro Pack. I cannot recall exactly if the license is tied to a specific domain and what we may need to do to be sure it is tied to the actual domain on launch.
We’re hoping to launch Friday night if the client confirms. Please let me know what is necessary.
It looks like you may have activated the support licenses on dev site. What you should do is deactivate them. When you launch the site, then activate the licenses. If you are pushing the entire db and file system as part of your launch, that should be all you need to do.
We will be moving files and db. Oddly, when I look at settings where the codes are input, it says “license not active on this site.” Does deactivating simply mean removing the license codes?
Never mind that Steven. I see that I’d left the licenses tied to the IP address. But we had to use a live domain because a particular feature would not work on the IP while developing. Anyway, I see that there is a deactivate link in the “Manage Sites” area in my account.
