Just a basic questions regarding import

I am using the CSV import Plugin and the Import users from CSV with meta Plugin.

At the moment I am importing Users with CSV with Meta plugin – Fields:- Use Name, Email, Password.

Then importing into the directory with CSV import Plugin – fields:- -First Name, Last Name, Email.

This works and the new user can log in and their directory entry has their name already created. I am not importing their first and last name into WP Users as I thought it best not to have dupicate entries for the names.

Is that OK or should I also be adding the first and last name to the WP USers database?

The process you are using is what I would also use. :) I do think it will be just fine and cause no trouble.

My thinking was to keep the databases as small as possible and not duplicate information.
