HI there not sure if I have set this up properly
I have a main page that lists all the categories (a) and subcategories (cities that begin with a) that show the amount of entries
That shows up fine – BUT when I go to click on the subcategory cities they just click to nothing – no entries there
what am I missing?

example – sub directory http://petbox.ca/2.png01/23/2016 at 12:25 pm #362109
Hard to say from screenshots, you’ll have to share a link with me to the page having the issue.01/23/2016 at 3:34 pm #362117JabbergirlGuestThis reply has been marked as private.01/24/2016 at 11:18 am #362202
from what I can tell from the page source, it looks like you added the shortcode for the category widget to the page, of course you can do that, but it you still need to add the
[connections]shortcode to the page too (which from what I can tell is not there). Did you add the
[connections]shortcode to the page? If you did, can you add it?01/24/2016 at 12:17 pm #362203JabbergirlGuest
HI there – I have just added the connections code to the page in addition to the widget category code -but now I see all the detailed listings instead of just the category listings?01/24/2016 at 12:47 pm #362206
Looks like it working to me…
This page shows all entries:
This page shows all that are category “A”:
And this shows all “Acton”:
If you put the category widget shortcode back on the page (that was removed), above the
[connections]shortcode you will see the category links again. Clicking the link should filter by the category clicked.
NOTE: If you are going to use the links from the widget, you should disable the category filter feature in the template.
Hope that helps!01/24/2016 at 3:03 pm #362213JabbergirlGuest
