ParticipantTitle says it all. The download on my account page is 4.0.
Thanks.

Actually, that is not possible because only a single version is ever available and it’s always the most recent… just in case though, I triple checked and version 4.1 is what is available in your purchase history. Perhaps you might be looking at an old zip file rather than the new one you’ve downloaded. I mention this because this has happened a few times in the past to others.
Hope that helps. Please let me know.

ParticipantThanks for checking. I’m not sure what is going on. The plug-ins dialog page shows version 4.1, but the Connections Template page shows version 4.0 and no customize button. I deactivated and deleted the cMap plug-in and then downloaded the new version and activated. I’m not using a caching program, but I am using DreamHost which seems to Cache quite a bit. Will clearing the caches now solve or will I need to delete, clear the cache and then download the new version?

re: The plug-ins dialog page shows version 4.1, but the Connections Template page shows version 4.0
Do you somehow have both versions installed? Search your installed plugins make sure there are not multiple installations of cMap… I’m only guessing the possibility of a duplicate installation as I see no other way both version numbers can be displayed. Caching does not make sense because the version exists in only a single file. So if it shows in one place it has to show the same in the second.
re: no customize button.
What customize button are you expecting??? This one? This feature is still being built and has not been released. All templates will need to be updated to use the new Template Customizer… I literally just started updating cMap (5.0) yesterday to use the new Template Customizer.

ParticipantI guess I have accomplished the impossible! See attached files. I deactivated, deleted license, deleted plug-in and still the version shows 4.0 in Template. Sorry for the trouble.
I was expecting the Customize button you showed in the preview video. I thought it was part of 4.1.

Ahhh, figured it out! I do have one area in the file where the version was still hard coded and it was set at 4.0. That explains where you see 4.0 and not 4.1 on the Templates page. You do indeed have 4.1 installed. If you want it to show 4.1 on the Templates admin page, just redownload and reinstall it.
Customize…
The video is of a feature preview for Connections 8.4 the current version is 8.3.3. cMap will not get Customizer support until version 5.0. My plan is to release 8.4 this Friday and start releasing updates to templates the following week.
Hope that helps… apologies for the trouble and confusion!
