ParticipantHello Steve,
I have been working on creating categories and adding images, and it looks very nice, so first of all thank you for this excellent layout, very attractive indeed! 😊
Now, however,I find that the “View All Categories” link is no longer working.
What’s more, when I finished uploading the images I realised that the drop-down Categories and the Search boxes now appears after the Categories image grid, whereas I am pretty sure before, when I had just a few images, they at the very top of the page.
Is that the standard, native layout?
Is there a way to move it up to the top?BTW, just in case you need to know, I am using Customizr Pro and the only other plugins I have activated at the moment are
Regenerate Thumbnails
iFrame (not on the Directory page)
Say What?
Connections extensions plugins, except Authored and Category Sticky PostsOnce again, I am most grateful for your kind help, Steve.
Best regards.

Yes, the display is the correct order. It was a very tough choice on where to put it. Some are going to expect it before and others after.
You should use the Template Customizer on cMap and turn off the category dropdown since you are using the Enhanced Categories and the category widget in the sidebar. They’re not going to work well together.

Odd, try visiting the WordPress Permalinks settings admin page. No need to make any changes, just visit the page. No try the link. Does it work?

ParticipantBrilliant Steve, thanks!
Yes, simply visiting the permalink page, then going on to the site and navigating to the directory page worked a treat, excellent!
We’re lucky to have such a helpful, responsive Web-Fu master! :D
Hope to pester as little as possible; mostly I am managing, but so much more to discover!
Thanks again!
Ciao 4 now!

ParticipantPS The only issue remaining is the display of the View All Categories, that is a bit more chaotic, owing to images of different sizes. I’ll try resizing them.

That’s odd the category page should only be a list, not the images… ok, small bug. When I fixed the shortcode, I broke the the view all page :/
I’ have it fixed and will try to release an update asap.

ParticipantHi again,
I thought I should mention that the sub-categories count does not seem to work, I am not sure whether it’s my set-up or a glitch, but I thought it best to let you know while you’re working on the update…
Cheers e dear! 😊

I looked at you directory, the counts seem correct to me. Can you give examples of where they are not?
