ParticipantHi Steven,
Just updated to ver 8.29. Noticed a few changes re Maps in the update details.
Installed the plugin update and now my listing maps do not display correctly i.e. the map appears to be there but without any detail.
Here is a page link that demonstrates this..
enter link description hereI have attached a text file copy of the Google Developer console errors.
Please advise.
Regards,

I took a look and the map is loading fine. Perhaps your browser is loading an old locally cached version of the script the setups up the map instead of the new version. Try force refreshing your browser.
Hope this helps!

ParticipantHi Steven,
Thanks for your quick response and on a weekend.
I have again flushed the browser cache and the server cache but the issue still remains in that the Google Map on the listings will not display?
I have attached a text file showing the console js errors that seem to relate to this.
I have Google Maps displaying correctly elsewhere on my site (not through Connections) see this PAGE
The Connections Maps were displaying correctly before the update?
Any help would be appreciated.

I’ve visited this page in several browsers again to verify:
https://www.experiencetamborinemountain.com.au/traditional-bed-breakfast/name/amore-bb/
In each instance, the map displays for me with no errors.
Try this — open a private browsing window and then open the page. I’m fairly certain this is a browser caching issue (not a server cache issue) and that it is actually working just fine.
Hope this helps, let me know.

If you want, create a temp admin account using this plugin:

Reply back, as a private reply, with the login link.
I’ll log in an make a small tweak to Connections which will guarantee that the your browser will load the latest version of the script vs using its locally cached version.

ParticipantHi Steven,
Thanks again for the reply and your kind offer. However after playing around with Chrome 69 and my settings I was finally able to clear the cache just like you recommended and this has fixed my issue.
Not sure why the cache never cleared the other couple of times that I tried?
Thanks again for responding quickly, with the answer and on a weekend. Appreciated.
Regards,
Ray

Great to hear this is resolved for you. I’ve added a tweak to Connections for the next update that should eliminate the need to force refresh the browser cache. Implemented a cache buster technique.
