GuestHi Chris,
I am running a heath care website. where both patient and doctors are allowed to register.
Here I want to register doctors by special link and should be able to visible in the directory.Patients can use default registration and login pages.
I guess I can use “FORM” and “LINK” Extensions to achieve the above.
But I have below queries:
1. A user can not be registered using your form, Only a registered user can update submit his/her forms.(here I want to include user id and password field as well and sink with wordpress)
2. Also I want to add a link “Ask a question” in doctor’s directory(i.e In-steed of “Add to Address Book”, “Ask a Question” link). From where a user can ask a pubic/private question(via email). If all the above can be possible by any mean I would like to go for its pro version to add search field as well.
thanks

First, apologies, but for some reason your posts were being marked as spam.
My suggestion is to one of the freely available registration plugins that are available to allow you doctors and patients to register as users on your site. Then after a successful/verified registration you can redirect the doctor or patient to the correct page. The doctors you could redirect to the Link admin profile page where they can submit their info to the directory. You wouldn’t want to use Form since you want doctors to be able to maintain their own entry.
To replace the “Add to addressbook” link with an email the doctor a question link, you would need to have something custom developed as Connection can not currently do something like that out of the box.
I hope that helps!
