We are using managed wordpress hosting. It seems that with managed wordpress we are unable to automatically update the cMap template plugin on the WP dashboard plugin manager. It reads “Update Failed: Update package not available.” We cannot update from version 5.1 to version 5.2.1 It may not be completely nessecary with our requirments, but would like to resolve the issue. I was looking into way of just redownloading cMap’s new version and reinstalling it? Would that be possible? would that affect our current connections listing?
First, see this FAQ:
If you have done this and still receive this error, please let me know.
You can access your downloads from your purchase history under the Downloads tab.
To update manually, simply deactivate and delete the current version and then install an and activate the new version. You data is safe and will not be deleted (this is pretty much the process that WP does automatically when it updates plugins).
Hope that helps!
