ParticipantHi
I wonder if you can help.
I’m updating a site we built some years ago and have renewed licenses for cMap and Extension Pro Pack and need advice as to how to update the individual items and activate the licenses.
I’ve updated connections to 8.6.11
The other things I have installed are:
Connections cMap – Template – 3.0.3
Connections Form – 1.0.2
Connections Link – 2.0.2 – this is the only one which (in the WP plugins) says an update is available and license not activated. And, the only one showing up in the Connections > Settings > licenses tabI’ve downloaded all of the latest versions. Should I de-activate and delete all of them and re-install the new versions as per advice on this forum?
Finally, I used the Say What? plugin originally (which you recommended) to change a lot of the elements in Form. Will this be affected by the upgrades?
Many thanks
Nigel

Yes, that will work just fine. After you do, make sure to activate your licenses for each item. After you do, you will be able to update in the admin like the free plugins from wp.org.

I think these will be lost … sort of. If you do lose any. They will still exist in Say What? If you find one or more do not work any more. Edit it in Say What change the text domain from
connections_form
toconnections
or vice versa.Hope this helps, let me know.

ParticipantHi Steve
Thanks, that all worked fine. I did edit the Say What text changes as you suggested and it worked.
Only thing is though: It accepted the cMap license in the settings > licenses section on the website but wouldn’t accept the license for Form or Link. It just showed an error: License entered is not for this item
I bought this with the Extension Pro Pack so there is only one license showing in my account. However the website is showing as being licensed in my Purchase History.
Any ideas?
Many thanks, Nigel

Apologies, I did not notice your question.
It appears the individual license keys were not created in your original purchase of the Extension Pro Pack. I’ve corrected this and just now resent your renewals sales confirmation email which will have the license keys. Hope this helps!

ParticipantHi
I didn’t see the email but I grabbed them from the licenses page which is now showing the individual ones.
Thanks that all worked now.
Best
Nigel
