GuestSame here – Error on line 417 in class.settings.php. Had to manually (-ftp) deactivate connections in order to keep my page running
I did not delete the entire folder. Could anyone provide a walkaround or a bug-free version of class.settings.php?

GuestHi again,
someone posted a solution in the wordpress.org support – forum which worked just fine for me
download class.settings.php via ftp (wp-content/plugins/connections/includes/class.settings.php)
delete following entries (the number on the left represents the line)
417. <<<<<<< HEAD
422. =======
425. >>>>>>> fxbenard-developTassos explanation: “I think it has something to do with the <<< in that some servers accept only two , some three and so on.”
You can find the solution here: http://wordpress.org/support/topic/0765-will-not-activate

KeymasterApologies for the trouble. Somehow a merge conflict had occurred without warning.
You can follow the advise above or just delete Connections and re-install it. It is safe to do, you will not lose anything.
