GuestOk, I’ve used the majority of this shortcode for a while:
[connections str_note_show='Provider Hours' show_empty_categories=”false” image='photo' tray_image='none' tray_image_fallback='none' str_image='No Photo Available' str_tray_image='No Logo Available' str_work_phone='Phone' str_work_fax='Fax' str_note_hide="Close Provider Hours" str_note_head="Provider Hours" pagination_position="both"]
The only semi-recent addition is the pagination_position and I recently updated my version of Connections…
So, unfortunately, recently (just noticed it today) the show_empty_categories=”false” doesn’t seem to be working any longer. The uncategorized category still shows up, even though it’s empty.
Thank you for all your help, as always.

Double check to make sure that it is truly empty. Entries in the moderation queue and unlisted entries still count.
Another item, I see you switch back and forth between the type of quote you’re using for the shortcode option value. I highly recommend choosing either single or double quotes and stick with that. I’m not certain how well WordPress handles switching back and forth like that. After you choose, I also recommend, manually typing each of them in because it looks like a couple of the quotes are “fancy” quotes which WordPress does not support.
Let me know if that resolves it thanks!

ParticipantI went ahead and switched all the quotes to single for shortcode for safety’s sake, but the problem was indeed some uncategorized listings still in the moderation queue. Problem solved! Thank you so much!
(unrelated note… is there a way to make the name font not so bold without messing with the .css stylesheet? Shortcode? If not… it was worth a try… thanks!)
Looks fine in Chrome, but not great in IE.

Sorry, messing with either the theme’s CSS file or the template’s CSS file would be required; which one would depend on which version of cMap you have installed.
