ParticipantHi Steven,
Recently updated to 8.2.3 and now unable to upload images or logos. Have you seen this with others? Any tips?
Thanks

No, since moving Connections to use core WordPress functions to process uploads, image uploading issues have been pretty rare. This was a major change that happened in 8.1. Pretty much if you can upload images using the Media Manager, there should not be any issues uploading images at all since it is basically the same code, just a different destination folder.
Which version did you upgrade from? Any errors or anything being shown? What happens when you try to upload an image? Any additional detail will help, thanks?

ParticipantI’ve been pretty good about updating the plugin with each new release. I would say updated from the most recent prior version.
only thing that happens after selecting the image to upload is – nothing. not seeing the usual spinning wheel and success message. just unable to upload. if I cancel the image I am able to update text and other inputs.

Maybe it is recently installed plugin that is causing the problem them. Version 8.2.3 really was primarily an audit of the CSS and tweaking of some automated tasks for prefixing CSS and minifying CSS and JS file… nothing that would affect uploading an image.
There was a change with 8.1.6 (released in Jan) that would prevent selecting an image that was larger than what the server permits to be uploaded. If that is the reason, there should be a little popup error message. Maybe that popup isn’t displaying for you for some reason. Can you try selecting a small image to see if that makes a difference?

Participantdoesn’t seem to be related to file size. must be a plugin interaction.

Glad to hear you found the issue! Which “Classifieds” plugin? This one?

I’d like to research it to see if I can work around the issue or provide some other solution.

Participantthat’s the one
also – on another topic (map integration) what do you think of this: http://www.napavintners.com/maps/
pretty sophisticated system built on mapbox (I think)

Hmmm, unfortunetely, Classifieds is a premium plugin. I can download it to investigate. My best guess is it has javascript that is not limited to its own admin pages and that javascript somehow interferes with the file input type (an HTML tag which allows to send a file via a form submission).
And the Map… I am working on a solution which uses Google Maps. I did look at Mapbox but the barrier to entry is way too high for the general user who expects plug and play.
