ParticipantHi, Stephen,
Site: http://homeopathyschool.dreamhosters.com
First question: Client only wants alphabetic headers on one Connections-enabled page (using tile plus – http://www.homeopathyschool.dreamhosters.com/homeopathy-resources/certified-homeopaths-find-a-homeopath/) and not on the other (using excerpts plus – http://www.homeopathyschool.dreamhosters.com/the-faculty/ – you can see it only uses 2 letters, and that’s not likely to change). I see in the settings where one can turn that feature on and off, but it’s universal.Second question: When one uses the search feature in Connections, there’s no way to go back to the All, or index, page other than the back button. I’ve kludged it by putting a link under the Connections short-code, “Back to all listings,” but I’m wondering if there’s a way to only have that kind of link show up in search results.

ParticipantModification of the second question: I found the setting in the Display tab for the “View all” link, but that takes one back to a list of names that in this case is completely useless, I need it to go back to the display of cards with all the info. And I still want it to only show up in the search results page of cards.

First question … either enable or disable the character index and then enable or disable it accordingly using the show_alphaindex and show_alphahead.
Second question … There isn’t a “clear search” link. This will be coming in a future update, likely earlier next year.
