I’ve got Link and Form installed on a site where members are creating public profiles. A few of them are getting an error “Token mismatch, Cheating?” Any idea what’s going on here? I’m not even sure where to start looking, since it’s not consistent. Some users get it when they try to create their directory entry. Others get it when they try to edit. Others never see the error at all…
Thanks in advance!
I see you are running WP Super Cache. Make sure you are not caching pages for logged in users or exclude the page which Form is on.
What is happening is the security token is being cached and expires which will result in this error. The tokens are a security precaution which is why they expire.
Hope that help, let me know.
Got it! Thanks for such a quick reply!! I’ll make those changes and see if it helps.
